LINDSEY GRAHAM: A CONSERVATIVE LEADER WHO GETS THINGS DONE

RELEASE: Graham Announces South Carolina Values Coalition
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Wednesday, May 21st, 2014

COLUMBIA, SOUTH CAROLINA – U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham today announced his South Carolina Values Coalition, made up of top pro-family and pro-life leaders from across the state supporting his re-election.

The Values coalition is co-chaired by Former Attorney General Charlie Condon and longtime pro-life leader Lisa Van Riper, who is president of South Carolina Citizens for Life.  Members of the coalition will focus on building support for Senator Graham among pro-family and pro-life voters throughout the state.

“Lindsey Graham has a proven record of fighting for the traditional family values we hold dear in South Carolina,” said Charlie Condon.  “He’s stood up for traditional marriage, passed legislation to protect the unborn, and worked hard topreserve the American dream for our future generations.  I know Lindsey Graham and am proud to stand with him as he stands for the conservative values we share.”

“We need conservative solutions to a multitude of problems,” said Lisa Van Riper.  “Lindsey Graham is one of the most principled, conservative leaders that I’ve ever known.  He has a superb voting record, and he understands how to move the ball up the field and get things done.  We need smart, strategic, principled, conservative leadership.  Lindsey Graham provides that, and he needs to go back to Washington.”

“Charlie, Lisa, and the rest of the members of this coalition are some of the strongest voices for South Carolina’s conservative values,” said Graham.  “They are the gold standard in pro-family and pro-life communities.  I’ve worked alongside them to advance conservative principles and protect our values, and I am grateful to have their support.”

This announcement follows last week’s endorsement by the National Right to Life Committee PAC and South Carolina Citizens for Life Federal PAC for Graham’s strong pro-life voting record.
